Implementation of E-Court Phase 2 System at the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court
We refer to Circular No 104/2017 dated 25 May 2017 and Circular No 135/2017 dated 5 July 2017, among others, where we informed Members of the Bar that the e-Court Phase 1 system is gradually being replaced by the e-Court Phase 2 system, and provided updates to assist Members with the transition.
We have been notified by the Deputy Registrar of the e-Court Division of the Federal Court of Malaysia, Hamidah bt Mohamed Deril, that the e-filing system will be implemented at the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court on 10 July 2017 (Monday)
For additional details, please refer to the notice, which we received on 6 July 2017.  The relevant portion of the notice is reproduced below.

PELAKSANAAN SISTEM EKEHAKIMAN FASA 2 DI MAHKAMAH RAYUAN DAN MAHKAMAH PERSEKUTUAN
Dengan segala hormatnya saya diarah merujuk perkara di atas.

2.         Saya diarahkan untuk memaklumkan bahawa Sistem e-Kehakiman Fasa 2 akan mula dilaksanakan di Mahkamah Rayuan dan Mahkamah Persekutuan di Istana Kehakiman, Putrajaya mulai hari ISNIN, 10 JULAI 2017.

3.         Oleh yang demikian pemfailan semua rayuan baru dan semua permohonan baru bagi kes-kes sivil dan jenayah di Mahkamah Rayuan dan Mahkamah Persekutuan mulai 10 Julai 2017 hendaklah dilaksanakan secara e-filing sama ada secara online dari firma peguam masing-masing atau melalui kaunter Biro Perkhidmatan e-filing di Istana Kehakiman atau kaunter Biro Perkhidmatan di Mahkamah Tinggi di negeri masing-masing. Pemfailan dokumen secara online boleh dibuat melalui http://efs.kehakiman.gov.my.

4.         Namun begitu salinan hardcopy dokumen tersebut seperti lazimnya hendaklah juga difailkan ke Registri Mahkamah Rayuan dan Mahkamah Persekutuan dalam tempoh seminggu selepas tarikh pemfailan online tersebut dibuat.

5.         Kerjasama pihak Tuan/Puan adalah dipohon untuk memanjangkan makluman ini kepada semua peguam dan kakitangan yang terlibat di negeri/agensi  masing-masing.
