Guidelines | Garis Panduan Pendaftaran Urusniaga dan Bukan Urusniaga Tanah (Dikemaskini 16 November 2016)
The Chief Assistant Director of the Registration Division of the Federal Territories Director of Lands and Mines Office (Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur), Nor Azura bt Abdul Rahman, has extended to us, by email on 16 Nov 2016, a copy of Garis Panduan Pendaftaran Urusniaga dan Bukan Urusniaga Tanah (Dikemaskini 16 November 2016).

Please be informed that the updated guidelines took effect on 16 Nov 2016.

Susulan perbincangan yang telah diadakan bersama wakil Bar Council dan KL Bar Committee pada 24 Oktober 2016, bersama ini dikemukakan Garis Panduan Pendaftaran Urusniaga dan Bukan Urusniaga yang telah dikemaskini yang akan dikuatkuasakan mulai hari ini, 16 November 2016.
Antara pindaan yang terlibat adalah seperti berikut:-
1.         Gantung - Butiran kewarganegaraan bagi individu tidak dinyatakan (Seksyen 436A KTN). Pembetulan hanya boleh dibuat oleh orang yang menyempurnakan suratcara (peguam).
2.         Gantung - Kesilapan nama, no. kad pengenalan dan jawatan orang yang menyempurnakan instrumen bagi syarikat/ pertubuhan/ persatuan/ perbadanan. Kedudukan syarikat/ persatuan/ pertubuhan dan taraf syarikat asing tidak dinyatakan (Seksyen 436A KTN). Pembetulan hanya boleh dibuat oleh orang yang menyempurnakan suratcara.
3.         Pindaan pada senarai penolakan. Tidak menggunakan pen dakwat hitam kekal. Ballpoint pen/Ball pen tidak dibenarkan (Perenggan 11 Jadual kesepuluh).
4.         Pindaan kepada tempoh penggantungan daripada 3 hari kepada 5 hari.
Tempoh penggantungan perserahan (5 hari) telah tamat tanpa tindakan pembetulan atau maklumbalas daripada penyerah.
Kerjasama pihak tuan dipohon untuk mengedarkan Garis Panduan ini untuk mengelakkan penggantungan dan penolakan dokumen di pejabat ini.

Implementation of the Secured Land Management System ("SELAMAT") at
Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya
The Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya (Federal Territories Director of Lands and Mines Office, Putrajaya; "PPTG WPPj"), has informed us, in its letter dated 14 Nov 2016, that it will be implementing a new land administrative system known as the Secured Land Management System ("SELAMAT"). 
The use of this system will be in force from 1 Dec 2016 (Thursday).
PPTG WPPj has requested the Bar Council to inform law firm representatives to register themselves at PPTG WPPj, on 30 Nov 2016 (Wednesday). 
Representatives of law firms are required to bring the following documents for the registration process:
  • MyKad (please ensure the chip in your card functions well); and
  • Letter from your law firm verifying that you are the firm's representative.
The relevant portion of this letter is reproduced below, and a copy of it is attached for your reference.

Dengan segala hormatnya saya diarah untuk merujuk perkara di atas.
2.         Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa pejabat ini akan menggunakan satu sistem baru yang dikenali sebagai Secured Land Management System (SELAMAT) dalam urusan pentadbiran tanah di Putrajaya.  Sistem ini akan dikuatkuasa penggunaanya mulai 1 Disember 2016.
3.         Sehubungan dengan itu, mohon kerjasama pihak tuan/puan untuk menyampaikan maklumat ini kepada semua firma guaman yang mendaftar di bawah Majlis Peguam untuk datang ke pejabat ini dan mendaftar sebagai wakil firma masing-masing pada 30 November 2016.  Sila bawa bersama dokumen seperti di bawah bagi melancarkan proses pendaftaran:-
i) My Kad (Pastikan cipnya berfungsi dengan baik)
ii) Surat Akuan Pengesahan sebagai wakil peguam daripada firma guaman yang diwakili.

The Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kebangsaan ("YBGK") is a comprehensive scheme that funds lawyers to do legal aid work in criminal matters.  We are pleased to invite lawyers to attend Parts One and Two of the YBGK training.

Please also note that this programme is sponsored by YBGK, and all lawyers who attend YBGK training are required to do a minimum amount of YBGK work after the training.
Only 40 seats are available and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.   To register for the training, please complete and submit the attached reply slip to Sumitra Veeriah by email at sumitra@kllac.com, or by fax at 03-2072 3005, as soon as possible.
An email will be sent to registered participants a week before the date of the training, to confirm their participation and to update them on the details of the event.  The dress code during training is smart casual.
