Teh Tarik Session with Steven Thiru (30 May 2015)
Do you have burning questions to ask the President of the Malaysian Bar?  
Perhaps you have questions such as the following:
  • Why should I care about the Malaysian Bar? 
  • What is the Common Bar Course ("CBC")? 
  • Should lawyers be paid a minimum wage? 
  • What is the minimum post-qualification experience ("PQE") requirement to set up a firm?
  • What are the opportunities for advocacy available for young lawyers?    
Get up close and personal with Steven Thiru, President of the Malaysian Bar, in a no-holds-barred teh tarik session.  Ask anything, ask everything.
The details of the teh tarik session are as follows:
Date:                          30 May 2015 (Saturday)
Time:                         2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Registration begins at 1:30 pm)
Venue:                       Straits Food Company, 2 Jalan Abdullah, Bangsar Utama, 59000 Kuala Lumpur*
Registration Fee:       Admission is free**
Dress Code:               Casual — T-shirt and jeans (preferably no suit or tie)

*strictly no outside food or drinks allowed on the premises
**participants will have to bear the cost of any food or drinks that they order
