Malaysia-Non E-Filing Cases - Documents In BC Box in Shah Alam Court

Re:  Non E-Filing Cases - Documents In BC Box in Shah Alam Court
Dear Members Of the Bar,
For Non E-Filing Cases, certain Court documents for example Notice Of Appeal To The Judge In Chambers are inserted into the respective law firm's BC Box.
Recently, it has come to our attention that lawyers received such Court documents late resulting in the non-attendance of both parties lawyers and consequently causing the matter to be struck off.
Notwithstanding that such cases have been reinstated, the Court have, upon our request & recommendation, agreed to have a Registration Book to record the actual date in which the document (i.e. non e-filing cases)
are inserted into the BC Box.
Thank you,
Vishnu Kumar
Chairman
Selangor Bar Committee

Re: Air Conditioning - 6th Floor – Annex Building Shah Alam CourtDear Members Of the Bar,
The Air Conditioning at the 6th Floor Annex Building Shah Alam Court appears to be poor and hence that area is quite warm.

We are taking up this issue with the Court and will inform members of  developments.
